Thanks for taking time to learn more about my vision for 100 miles.
I consider myself lucky to as a child have traveled in the back seat of a station wagon or camped in a RV with my parents and siblings. Some of my fondest childhood memories were crafted during those trips. Today, some 50 years later, time behind the steering wheel gazing through the windshield over the wide open road, I find my peace.
For me, road trips open the world to possibilities of stories untold - the people, the places, the landscape, the history, the what‘s and what‘s nots - connected by blacktop or pot-hole-ridden gravel.
My formal work history has been a mixed bag of non-profit work, but my passion has always been people. I'm intrigued by their humility, resilience, and courage.
Everyone has a story.
As I travel America's roads less traveled, I'll offer this platform for people from all walks of life to share their remarkable stories of love, hardship, gratitude, and recovery. No celebrities here, although I'm sure to find some folks worthy of great notoriety.
I consider a simple life a beautiful life. And my goal with 100 miles is to demonstrate, regardless of a person's locale, they make a life-changing impact for their fellow people.
